A Música do Dia - Playing for Change - One Love

O projeto do produtor Mark Johnson, Playing for Change, já foi tema aqui mesmo no Café & Conversa, de vários comentários nossos sobre experiências de sucesso que poderiam ser copiadas, principalmente em países que estão culturalmente submersos no raciocínio assistencialista, como o Brasil.

Johnson viajou pelos quatro continentes, gravando com gente do naipe de Keb' Mo', uma das maiores celebridades do blues americano; até anônimos como Menyatso Nathole, da África do Sul. O projeto inclui ainda, de Manu Chao ao arpista Tara Bir Tuladhar, do Nepal. De Bono Vox ao anônimo Roger Ridley, das ruas da Califórnia.

Nessa homenagem a Bob Marley, Playing for Change mostra um descontraído Keb' Mo' cantando nas ruas de Nova Iorque, o trecho que aparece a seguir, sem crédito: "Let's get together to fight this Holy Armageddon (One love)/ So when the Man comes there will be no, no doom (One song)/ Have pity on those whose chances grow thinner/ There ain't no hiding place from the Father of Creation"
