A americana Melody Gardot já frequentou as páginas do Café & Conversa, mas volta hoje fazendo uma recomendação.
Gardot, que passou a semana em turnê por Paris e Amsterdã, recomenda no último post que fez em seu Twitter, essa “incrível, simplesmente incrível” Lizz Wright, cantando Nature Boy.
Lizz Wright (22/01/80) nasceu numa família evangélica. O pai, um pastor presbiteriano, ensinou à filha os primeiros acordes do jazz e, ainda criança, ela começou a tocar piano na igreja. Como a maioria das divas desse gênero, Lizz Wright tocou muito gospel, antes de frequentar as casas de espetáculo.
Nessa Nature Boy, imortalizada na voz de tantos gênios da música internacional, entre eles, Nat King Cole, Lizz Wright, está simplesmente genial.
